MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- Officials of Rusty Wallace Racing have announced the team's director of competition Wes Ward and lead engineer Dale Ferguson will assume interim co-crew chief duties for RWR's No. 62 entry and driver Brendan Gaughan. They replace Bryan Berry at the helm of the No. 62 Chevrolet team.

"This was a hard decision for us to make," team owner Wallace said. "Bryan's a good person and a good crew chief. There are just times when the communication between a driver and crew chief doesn't work out quite right and this was one of them. We're in a performance-based business and we owe it to our sponsors and our team to do everything we can to improve our level of performance. I'm confident that Wes and Dale will do a great job while we evaluate our options going forward."
